Black Bean Quinoa Burger

Whether you're meal prepping, or simply looking for meatless grilling options, this freezer-friendly vegan recipe is your go-to burger for any occasion!

What you Need

Prep sweet potatoes


Cook sweet potatoes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside. Remove and discard the skin then roughly chop.

Prep the quinoa


In a small saucepan, combine quinoa and water. Boil and simmer until all the water is absorbed. Set aside.

Mix all ingredients


Combine the cooled sweet potatoes, cooked quinoa and other ingredients. Mix well.

Shape patties


Measure out ½ cup of the mixture. Gently shape it into patties. Flatten the burgers and smooth out any uneven edges.

Bake patties


Brush both sides of each patty with olive oil. Bake for about 35 minutes. Flip halfway.

Assemble burgers


Assemble the burgers with your preferred toppings and enjoy!
