Broccoli Pesto

– broccoli florets – fresh basil – pine nuts – garlic cloves – olive oil – salt – black pepper

Step 1

Drop the florets into the boiling water to blanch them for about 30 seconds.

Step 2

Pop pine nuts on a skillet or non-stick pan and just toast for 2 minutes

Step 3

Throw the broccoli, garlic, and fresh herbs into a food processor and pulse until you get a coarse paste of sorts.

Step 4

Add olive oil as you pulse so it turns into a creamy pesto like consistency. Add some salt and pepper to taste, and your broccoli pesto is all done!

Step 5
