Ethiopian Cabbage

Vegan, gluten-free and tastes absolutely delicious!


– Olive oil – Ginger paste – Turmeric powder – Cumin powder – Red onion – Carrots – Potato – Cabbage

Step 1

In a cast iron skillet, heat olive oil, add the fat and once it's hot enough, add the spices to infuse oil with the spices

Step 2

Now, add the chopped onion and saute for about 1 min.  Then, add carrots, potatoes, water and turmeric and mix well.

Step 3

Cover and cook for 10 min. Then, stir in the cabbage, add salt and pepper and cook covered again for 5 min.

Step 4

Serve hot with rice or flatbread!

These are usually gone before I know it!
