Mac and Cheese

Super easy recipe

Simple, nutritious, and ready in under an hour.


– Curly pasta – Kimchi – Butter – Heavy cream – Sharp cheddar – Parmesan – Salt – Black pepper

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook the pasta based on the directions on the box.

Step 2

Melt butter in a large skillet. Add kimchi to the butter. Sauté for about 5-6 minutes until the water in the kimchi reduces significantly.

Step 3

Add flour to this and whisk to create a roux. Once mixed well, add the cream, salt, pepper and garlic powder and whisk nicely to form a fluid mixture.

Step 4

Then, turn the heat to low and stir in all the gouda, and half of cheddar and parmesan to create the cheese sauce.

Step 5

Once the pasta is done cooking, drain the water and set aside. Let both the pasta and the cheese sauce cool for about 2-3 minutes, then mix them together.

Step 6

Add the remaining cheddar, parmesan and the bread crumbs to the top of the skillet and then pop in the oven to broil for 1-2 minutes.

Step 7

Your kimchi mac and cheese is ready for devouring.
