Samosa Chaat

Made with crunchy samosas, chickpea curry, yogurt, chutneys and other Indian spices, samosa chaat is a classic Indian street snack is a delightful explosion of flavors and textures in each bite!

What you Need

Make chickpea base


Heat vegetable oil in a medium saucepan and add the cumin seeds.

Add spices


Add onions, garlic, ginger, chilies, turmeric and coriander.

Add tomatoes


Cook for 6-7 minutes. Pour pureed tomatoes and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, covered.

Add chickpeas


Add chickpeas, water, and garam masala powder and cook on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes.

Assemble samosa


Serve a layer of chole into serving bowls. Top with dollops of yogurt, and break two samosas per person. Garnish and serve!
