classic, easy recipe perfect for Thanksgiving

Step 1

Combine mushroom soup, milk, cream cheese, and minced garlic in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Whisk if  cream cheese is not softened.

Step 2

Drain the green beans and add to the cream cheese mixture, mixing gently. Then, mix in ⅔ cup of fried onions.

Step 3

Transfer the green bean mixture to a 1 ½ -quart baking dish and bake it for 30 minutes.

Step 4

After 30 minutes, remove from  oven. Sprinkle remaining fried onions, cheese, and chopped nuts on top. Return to oven and bake for 5 mins until golden.

Step 5

Finish by sprinkling scallions on top and serve.
