These holiday butter cookies are one of my personal favorite cookies. They're simple, they're delicious, and they're always a hit with family and friends.
All-Purpose Flour Cornstarch Butter Powdered Sugar Vanilla Salt
Cream together the butter and powdered sugar at medium speed for about 3 or 4 minutes. Then add the vanilla and integrate it well.
Mix salt, flour, and cornstarch until fully combined. Combine with creamed mixture until a dough forms. Cover with plastic paper and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Shape dough into small balls and place on a prepared baking sheet. Bake at 370°F for about 12 minutes. You'll notice that the cookies might feel slightly undone, don't overcook them.
Remove from the oven and let them cool a bit. When they are still a little warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar. Enjoy!
