Sweet Potato

Step 1

Boil sweet potato pieces with salt until tender. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Warm butter, milk, paprika, garlic powder, and pepper. Preheat oven to 320ºF and grease a 9x13  dish.

Step 3

Return sweet potatoes to the stove over low heat. Mix butter mixture and mash sweet potatoes.

Step 4

Prepare honey-walnut topping in a small bowl.

Step 5

Evenly spread the mashed sweet potatoes in the casserole dish, and sprinkle topping over it uniformly.

Step 6

Bake for 15 minutes, or until walnuts are toasted and the potatoes are heated through.
