Key Ingredients

Whisk flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda in a bowl. Set aside. Make brown butter by heating butter, whisking frequently, until it starts to foam, and brown specks appear.


Mix the brown butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Then add the egg and mix until just combined.

Fold in flour mixture, chopped pecans and chocolate chips until it's just incorporated. Make balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.

Chill cookie dough in the fridge for at least 3 hours, but ideally overnight. Then, bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Add more pecans and bake for another 4 minutes.

Let them cool completely before serving! Garnish with some flaky sea salt on top, if you want to take it up a notch!
