Key ingredients

Rinse the rice thoroughly. Cover with fresh water and soak for 20 to 30 minutes.


Heat ghee, add cumin seeds and wait for it to sputter. Add chopped green chili pepper and the rice. Toast the rice for a minute or two, don't stir too much.

Transfer the toasted rice into another pot, add water and salt and bring to a boil. Cover and cook for 4-6 minutes.

Top and mix with chopped cilantro and serve hot! ENJOY!
