Place the sweet potato pieces in a pot and cover with water. Add salt. Bring to a boil. Simmer. Drain. Bring back to pot.

Warm up the butter, milk and add seasonings in a small saucepan until the butter is melted.

Remove pot from heat. Mash the potatoes. Add butter and season. Set aside.

Take a small bowl and mix the honey, parsley, and walnut topping ingredients together.
